Advanced Eco Logs supply eco logs that are manufactured from locally grown linseed straw and sawdust from a local joinery. They are the main supplier for the South East England and also ship across the whole of the UK.
Tim Bailey said that he began looking into producing eco fuel a couple of years ago when he saw that there was a lot of activity in that particular market.
Tim was growing linseed oil on his farm and was looking at a product to utilize the straw which is utterly waste product. So began looking at his local neighborhood and found joiners locally producing sawdust which otherwise they would either burn or throw on a field.
There is a huge demand for wood fuel and last year during the winter all of the log supplies ran out because it was such a cold winter and people ended up burning green logs which was extremely inefficient.
So Tim bought a briquette machine and began to produce his own eco fire logs in the form of straw briquettes.
You can see him pictured here standing in his field of linseed with a bale of dried linseed straw and a handful of straw briquettes that he has produced.

Eco-Logs are most commonly known as an all wood product that is simply clean, dry sawdust and shavings that have been mechanically compressed to form a solid Briquette.
However eco logs are also being formed from other natural products which would otherwise go to waste such as:
